Questions about Togedah
Short answers to what people ask most. If yours isn't here, ask us from inside the app.
- What is Togedah?
- Togedah is a shared AI chat: one conversation with one AI agent that your team, family or friends use together. Everyone sees it work, anyone can steer it, and anyone can pick it up.
- Is Togedah free?
- Yes, during the beta. It's invite-only while we test it with a few people at a time. You request access on the home page.
- How is it different from ChatGPT?
- ChatGPT is built around one person's chat, and OpenAI retired its group chats in July 2026. Togedah is built for a group getting work done with one AI: people with write access message it directly, others suggest, one person leads and can pass with a brief, and the agent keeps a record of what it chose and why.
- Can I use it on my own?
- Yes. Every chat starts as yours, and works like the AI chat you already use. You add people only when you want to.
- Who can see my chats?
- Only the people you add to a chat. What Togedah learns about you from your own chats is used to help you, and is never told to other people in a shared chat.
- What can the AI agent do?
- Answer questions, search the web with links to its sources, write documents, spreadsheets with working formulas and PDFs, and keep versions of every file. It asks before risky steps.
- Which AI model does it use?
- Togedah uses leading AI models and picks the right one for each task. We don't share which ones.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Togedah runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. There's nothing to install.
- Who makes Togedah?
- Togedah is made in India by Abhishek Mishra, an independent founder.
